Proper Care

• Since you always hold your poker chips employing your sweaty hands, you will end up with grimy poker chips after a while. You need to simply wash them with water and mild detergent using a old toothbrush. However, if you have old and antique chips, leave the washing part to a professional poker chip cleaner to avoid your beloved chips from getting damaged.

• Some even think they are able to clean their poker chips in the same way as their clothes and dishes. Believe it or not, they put their poor chips in the dishwasher. Some even put them within the microwave and oven to dry them. Please do not try to do any of these things or you will wind up with broken or damaged chips.

• Do not soak the chips in a pail or tub of water because the inlay should not be soaked. Again, just use a damp cloth and some mild detergent to clean this part. If you have a 1000 chip set, meaning you have 1000 pieces of chips, you must clean each and every poker chip until you are sure that everything is clean up to the last chip. Don't worry, this is not something that needs to be done often. Cleaning them once a year or so should keep the chips in good shape.
